  • Chivalry lives

I have always been a fan of fantasy and enjoyed reading Roland's Path. The author's passion for the world he is building shines through every page. He reminded why I like this genre. The only drawback was that the novel could have used a good edit. While I would knock off a couple tenths of a point for that, I have no reservation in rounding up and look forward to RJ's next book.

  • Wild West lawman meets the Witcher

A deeply imaginative world, Roland’s Path feels like a young Clint Eastwood tale of a noble youth swept up in simple case of tracking down criminals across a real terrain where fantasy creatures replace the dangers of cougars and bobcats. It’s part adventure and part gauntlet of adulthood that pits Roland against his own youthful limitations as he is force to make the difficult choices and actions that would make him the man, and knight, he aspires to be.

  • Fantastic book by a first time author

This is a really good book. I love the fantasy genre and this book is just fantastic. I highly recommend giving it a try. Roland is a character that I think most people will become attached to. You really enjoy getting to see him mature and learn what being a warrior truly means.
